Products
New for ShopSite Pro stores! You can now search for individual products instead of having to view all products for your store. You can search selected fields from the products database by choosing from the pull-down menu (default field is "Name") and entering the string or substring that you wish to search for. You will then be given a choice of products based on the results of your search. To keep from having to search repetitively, select "Leave products list up" (under Power Edit) and your search will stay active.
Add Product
Creates a new product in your site and prompts you for the information about that product. All the fields except the name field are optional. Fill in only the information that you would like to display or otherwise record. Some fields, such as price, can be recorded but not displayed, for example, if you would like to offer a free product.Add Multiple Products
To save time, you can add several products at once. Specify the number of products you want to add, then select the fields you have information for. If you only need to specify name, price, and description, you don't need to load a huge page containing all the other fields that you aren't editing.Edit Product Data

You can create a listing of several related products under a larger product grouping, such as Beans: 12 oz, 24 oz, 32 oz. This is a useful system whenever there are similar products with different prices. If they have the same price, it is often better to use the ordering options feature. Also, sub products can be used for merchandising. If you are selling bicycle tires, you could make inner tubes a subproduct, to remind the customer that they will also need to buy a tube.Arrange Subproducts
This feature allows you to change the order on the page of the subproducts you have attached to a product.Power Edit
After selecting multiple products, Power Edit allows you to edit one or more of their attributes. If you would like to change the prices for all of your products, select those products, hit the Power Edit button, and then select name and price from the menu. You can then easily change every price on one large page.Delete Product
You can delete one or more products from your database using this feature. You do not need to delete a product to make it not appear in your store, however. If you specify that a product appear on no pages, it will exist in your database, but not show on your pages. This is good for out-of-stock items. You can specify the page on which a product appears in the Edit Product Data page.Allows you to import data from off-the-shelf database applications into your ShopSite online database in tab-delimited format.
