Arrange Subproducts

Use this feature to arrange the order of the subproducts that you have listed for a particular product.

In ShopSite Manager stores, all the subproducts assigned to a product are presented in pull-down menus. To rearrange the order of items displayed with the product, simply choose from the pull-down menu each item you want displayed in the order you want it to appear.

In ShopSite Pro stores, each subproduct assigned to the product is displayed with a number next to it. To rearrange the order of subproducts, replace the number in the box next to the item with the number of the position you want it to appear at. You can also sort the items alphabetically by clicking the "Sort By Name" button at the bottom.

Other sorting possibilities are available for ShopSite Pro stores. Any numeric or character value is allowed as a valid entry in the boxes for sorting subproducts. For example, if you wish to place the first subproduct between the 6th and 7th subproducts, you can enter 6.5 in the box next to the first item and then click the "Sort as Specified" button to re-sort so that the first item is now between the other two items. You can also replace the numbers with characters and sort them alphabetically. (Note: Using characters rather than numbers will cause any numbers like 10 and 11 to come after 1 rather than the number 2 in a numerical sort.) Clicking "Sort as Specified" at any time will update any changes you have made so that you can see if you have everything in the correct order before finishing.
