or sections of your back office for the first time, ShopSite will be in basic editing mode. This is a simplified interface similar to the ShopSite Wizard, designed to make it easy to manage a small number of very basic items. In basic mode, many of the features and options for your pages and products are hidden to remove potentially confusing clutter. After you're comfortable with the essentials of managing pages and products, you'll probably want to check out the advanced editing mode, where you have a greater selection of tools and features available. To switch to advanced editing mode, simply go to the main screen for the section (click on the navigation bar) and click the button at the bottom of the screen. This will switch that section into advanced editing mode. Each section has its own mode setting, so you can switch to advanced editing mode for one and still use basic editing mode in the other.
