ShopSite Order Notification FAQs

Here is a list of questions and answers about ShopSite’s order notification.

Where do I set or change the e-mail address that order notifications are sent to?

Go to Preferences > Hosting Service in the ShopSite back office. The Merchant e-mail address field defines where order notification messages are sent. The field is also included on customer receipts, so the value that you set here needs to work for both purposes.

How often does ShopSite send order notifications?

ShopSite sends a notification message every time an order is placed.

How do I set the time that order notifications are sent each day?

Order notification messages are sent immediately after an order is placed so that merchants can respond quickly to new orders. You cannot set a schedule for notifications.

How do I send a "carbon copy" of orders to additional e-mail addresses?

In the back office, click on Preferences > Hosting Service. You can enter any additional e-mail addresses in the Order notification CC field. Enter each address on a separate line.
