More Info Page

If you would like to provide more information about a product than is practical to display on the page with the other products, you can create a "more information" page for the product.

Create a More Information Page - The name and graphic of the product become a hotlink that, when clicked, takes the customer to a page that can contain a larger image and more detailed description.

More Information Page Text - A virtually unlimited amount of text (and HTML tags) can be entered into the more information text box.

Graphic on More Information Page - Choose a graphic from the image files in your media library for the more info page. This graphic can be larger than the product graphic specified above, creating a thumbnail graphic effect. Use the radio button to select the method for finding your image.

More Information Page File Name - This setting is optional. Rather than let the system give you the default page file names (product1.html, product2.html, etc.), you can give the page a file name that describes the page's contents. Be sure to put an .html or .htm suffix on the end of the file name, or the page will not display correctly.

Name, price, description and order buttons will automatically be generated on the More Information page, so if you would like to specify that they not appear on the preceding product page, see the edit product formatting page.
