Putting OrderAnywhere Links in E-Mail
You can easily use the OrderAnywhere Linker to create product links that you can paste into e-mail messages to entice people to visit your store.
- Add the product to your store, if you have not done so already.
- Go to Merchandising > OrderAnywhere.
- Select the product from the list and click Show Selected HTML.
- Use your mouse to select the first line of italic text on the next screen (it’s usually very small type). Copy the selected text to the clipboard.
- Paste the copied text into your e-mail message.
- Change the text that says, "this is a text button" to some text that works in your message, such as the name of the product or "Click here!"
- Write the rest of your e-mail message and send it in HTML format. It’s a good idea to send it just to yourself first to make sure everything works before sending it out to hundreds of customers.
The people who receive your message will be able to click on the link, which will take them to your store’s shopping cart with that product added. They can then click the Continue Shopping button to make other purchases in your store.
