Getting Started with ShopSite |
You have control over almost all aspects of how your store looks to your customers, from the first page that customers see to the text on the Thank You screen after a purchase.
You control the look of your store pages through the Preferences section of ShopSite. The easiest way to make a dramatic change to your store’s pages is to go to Layout & Color Theme and select a new theme for your store. A theme sets the overall page layout, and each theme is available in several colors. Just select a new theme and color scheme, then click Publish to change your store — it’s that easy!
From the Preferences section of ShopSite, you can also change much of the standard text that is used throughout your store, including the language and currency used in your store. You can customize the format of More Info Pages, and merchants with ShopSite Pro and ShopSite Manager stores can change the header and footer that appears on each page, such as creating a navigation bar for the footer to make it easier to navigate in the store.
You can customize many aspects of the shopping cart by clicking on Commerce Setup and then going to the Order System page. You can set the colors used in the shopping cart, and the text that is displayed to customers as they place orders. ShopSite Pro merchants can add fields to the checkout page to gather additional information from customers.
