Getting Started with ShopSite |
Creating an online store is quite an accomplishment, but you must have customers for the store to succeed. Most brick-and-mortar stores only have to compete with other stores in the same vicinity, but online stores must compete with other online stores that could be located anywhere in the world. In other words, advertising is possibly more important for online stores than it is for traditional retailers!
ShopSite provides several resources to help get you started marketing your store, and you should check with your service provider to find out about any services that they offer. In the ShopSite back office, click on Keys to Success on the main screen for information about getting started online, and click on the buttons in the Merchandising section for additional tools and information. ShopSite Pro stores can also use Associates to put links to their stores on other Web sites.
