ShopSite® Order Transfer version 2.0 for QuickBooks includes several new features.
You can configure Order Transfer to match each different product to an individual QuickBooks item, or you can have all products matched to a single QuickBooks item. When matching items, Order Transfer will try to automatically match up the items using product information. If there is not a matching QuickBooks item, Order Transfer can automatically create a new item, or prompt you to select or create an item manually. Order Transfer can then update your ShopSite products with QuickBooks item information for future orders.
Order Transfer can automatically link customers in ShopSite orders to existing customer records in QuickBooks. If there is not a matching customer record, you can have Order Transfer automatically create a new customer record, or prompt you to select a record or create a new one.
The QuickBooks customer record is now linked to the customer name in the ShopSite order, instead of the customer e-mail address. The customer name matching feature makes it possible to resolve name conflicts manually, so a unique field is no longer required to identify the customer record.
ShopSite orders can now be imported into QuickBooks as sales orders, sales receipts, or invoices. You can select a default transaction type, as well as select specific transaction types for orders prior to importing them.
The Order Transfer setup wizard guides you step-by-step through the process of configuring Order Transfer to import ShopSite orders into QuickBooks.
Advanced configuration options allow you to customize associations between ShopSite order information and QuickBooks transaction fields.
After downloading your ShopSite orders, Order Transfer allows you to review and select which orders to import into QuickBooks. While viewing an order, you can select what type of transaction to use for the imported order.
If you have QuickBooks linked to a bank account, Order Transfer can post sales receipts directly to the bank account, rather than having to post to undeposited funds.
