eWAY

Overview

eWAY merchants can use their existing payment gateway to handle payments for ShopSite. To enable ShopSite to work with eWAY, you will need information from your eWAY merchant account, so it is best to have a separate browser window open to that site when setting up eWAY on ShopSite. The instructions assume you have an eWAY account already.

A new account can be created by visiting eWAY's website.

Setup

On the Commerce Setup screen within ShopSite, select eWAY in the "All processors" drop-down list, then click Configure. Copy and paste the appropriate fields from your eWAY Merchant Account into the ShopSite fields.

Host Select which server to use for payment processing. When you first configure ShopSite to process payments using eWAY, it is a good idea to run a few test transactions using the testing server before switching to the live server.
API Key

The API Key provided by eWAY. It can be accessed from your Merchant Account on the eWAY website.

API Password

The API Password provided by eWAY. It can be accessed from your Merchant Account on the eWAY website.

Display Error Details

Decide whether or not to display error details when a transaction fails. These will appear to the customer in their shopping cart.

Text strings and messages

You will enter your payment information on the next screen.

Defaults to "You will enter your payment information on the next screen."

Fill in the proper values and click the Save and Enable button.
