Arrange Items

The Arrange Items option allows you to determine the order of items on the page.

In ShopSite Manager stores, all the items assigned to a page are presented in pull-down menus. To rearrange the order of items displayed on the page, simply choose from the pull-down menu each item you want displayed in the order you want it arranged on the page.

In ShopSite Pro stores, each item assigned to the page is displayed with a number next to it. To rearrange the order of items on the page, replace the number in the box next to the item with the number of the position you want it to appear at. You can also sort the items alphabetically by clicking the "Sort By Name" button at the bottom of the page.

Other sorting possibilities are available for ShopSite Pro stores. Any numeric or character value is allowed in the boxes for sorting the items on the page. For example, if you wish to place the item in the first spot between the 6th and 7th spot, you can enter 6.5 in the box next to the first item and then click the "Sort as Specified" button to re-sort the items so that the first item is now between the other two items. You can also replace the numbers with characters and sort them alphabetically. (Note: Using characters rather than numbers will cause any numbers like 10 and 11 to come after 1 rather than the number 2 in a numerical sort.) Clicking "Sort as Specified" at any time will update any changes you have made so that you can see if you have everything in the correct order before finishing.
