Screen: ShopSite > Commerce Setup > Shipping > UPS
This screen lists all of the products in your store that do not have a shipping weight defined. If you are using Shipping by Weight, that’s generally not a good idea. For most circumstances, you should define a shipping weight for each of these products.*
If you are using UPS Shipping by Weight, you can set a minimum shipping weight for ShopSite to use if a product does not have a weight defined. ShopSite can also send you an e-mail message to alert you when that happens. You can configure those options on the UPS Shipping screen.
If you are using Simple Shipping by Weight, products that do not have a defined weight will not incur any shipping charges.
*You may want to leave a shipping weight at zero or undefined for items that you want to ship for free, such as gift certificates.
