Adding and Deleting Products when using OrderAnywhere Linker

Adding new products to your store is very similar to the steps that you followed when you originally created buttons with the OrderAnywhere Linker.

  1. Edit your store's pages in your HTML authoring tool and add the text and pictures for the new products.

  2. Access ShopSite and add the products to the database.

    3.  

  3. Use the OrderAnywhere Linker to create [Add to Cart] and [View Cart] buttons.

    4.  

  4. Drag and drop (or copy and paste) the buttons into the authoring tool and save the pages.

    5.  

  5. Upload the pages to the server.

To delete a product:

  1. Edit your store's pages in your HTML authoring tool and remove text, pictures, links, and [Add to Cart] buttons related to that product. Save the pages.

    2.  

  2. Upload the revised pages to the server.

    3.  

  3. Optionally, delete the products from the ShopSite database. This will help maintain parity between the ShopSite database and what you are actually selling, but leaving the products in the database will not interfere with your store’s operation.
