Gift Certificates

You can entice customers to give gifts from your store by selling gift certificates. You can sell both e-mail certificates and printed gift certificates that you mail to recipients. ShopSite will keep track of all certificates, including those that have been partially redeemed and still have some value left.

To begin using gift certificates, click the Configure button to enable the feature and set some initial values. After that, you’ll need to configure the page where customers can buy gift certificates, and add links to that page on the other pages in your store. Once you have these steps completed, ShopSite can take care of everything else.

View	View selected gift certificates
Edit	Edit Certificate settings
Delete	Delete the selected gift certificate
Download	Download selected gift certificate information to your local computer. You can use the Download All button to download information of all the existing gift certificates.
Search	Use the drop-down lists and the text field to enter some search criteria, then click the Search button to start the search for any certificates matching the criteria. If you click the Remember Search checkbox, the search results will be redisplayed each time you return to this screen during your current back office session.
List All	Click this button to display all gift certificates. This is especially useful to replace the results of a previous search with a list of all certificates.
Configure	Enable/disable gift certificates, set gift certificate parameters, and modify the layout of the gift certificate purchase page.
