Restore Databases

This screen allows you to confirm or cancel your choice to restore one or more of your store’s databases.

Warning:

Restoring a database from a backup copy replaces the current database, and you will lose all changes that you have made since making the backup. For example, restoring the Products database will remove all products from your store that you have added since you last backed up the Products database.

  1. Verify that the databases listed are those that you wanted to restore. Also verify that the status of the backup databases is shown as "OK." Do not restore a backup database with errors. If one or more of your databases shows errors, contact the technical support department of your service provider for assistance.
  2.

  3. If the databases listed are correct and their status is "OK," click Proceed to perform the restore operation.

  4. If you restore the Products or Pages database, you must click the Publish tab to rebuild your store using the restored databases. Your customers will not see the changes until you publish the restored store.

The final screen displays the status of the operation.
