Empty Databases

This screen allows you to confirm or cancel your choice to empty one or more of your store’s databases.

Warning:
Emptying a database will cause ShopSite to delete all information in that database. You should not emtpy your store’s databases unless you want to completely delete some or all of your existing store and rebuild it.
  1. Verify that the databases listed are those that you wanted to empty.

  2. Click Proceed.

     

  3. If you emptied the Pages database, your customers can still see your store until you publish it. Click the Publish tab to remove the generated pages from public view.

  4. If you emptied the Pages database, you must create a new welcome page for your store and give it the file name "index.html." An easy way to start rebuilding your store is to use the ShopSite Setup Wizard.

The final screen displays the status of the operation.
