Change Customer Password

Note:

You should not change a customer’s password unless the customer has contacted you and cannot sign in to their account. If the customer has only forgotten their password, they can go to the shopping cart and click the Sign In link, then click the "I forgot my password" link on the Sign In page. ShopSite will send an e-mail message to them with instructions for resetting their own password.

Use this screen to set a new password for a registered customer account. Simply type the new password once in each field (to make sure you typed it correctly), then tell the customer what the new password is. You should encourage the customer to change the password after they sign in.
