All of the technical settings for your store were set when it was created by the host administrator, with the possible exception of the URL for your store.
These are the IDs and URLs ShopSite uses to find its CGIs (program files) when a customer clicks on an order, or the seller clicks on ShopSite menu options.
Store URL |
The Web address where your store pages are located, not including page names. This URL is set in your store.auth file. To change this address, you must get a new auth file. |
Return to Shopping Button |
This field lets you specify the destination page for customers who click the Return to Shopping button on the order form. |
OS |
The operating system that the ShopSite server is running. |
PERL Executable Path |
This field tells ShopSite where to find the programs required to update your store. |
ShopSite CGIs URL |
The location of the CGI scripts that are used to create your store from the information that you put in the database. |
Digital Offer Generator URL |
The location of the program that generates a digital offer when a customer selects a product to purchase. |
Transact URL |
The location of the Transact system that processes orders for your store. |
ShopSite Store ID |
A one word code, often based on your site's URL. |
Transact Store ID |
A numeric ID used to identify your store and orders for your store within the Transact system. |
Data Directory |
The data directory is where ShopSite stores the databases and most configuration files for your store. Typically the data directory is not located in or below the output directory. In other words the data directory is not part of the Web server's document root (e.g., htdocs, WWW, or HTML directories) |
