With Flat Shipping, every order is charged the same shipping rate, depending on the delivery method chosen. By default, three delivery methods are enabled, but you can enable or disable as many as you need. You can change the names of the delivery methods in Preferences > Store Text > Shipping.
Flat Shipping is the simplest method of charging for shipping, but it is also the least flexible. Flat Shipping is a good choice if the majority of orders in your store are packaged so that they are close to the same size and weight.
