Download Search Log File Format

Each line in the downloaded file reflects a customer search (except for the first line), and the fields in each line are separated by tabs. The first line indicates the name and sequence of each field found in the remaining records. Here are the definitions of each field:

System Time

The time of the search, shown as seconds since 00:00:00 UTC, January 1, 1970.

 

Remote Host

The name or IP address of the customer’s computer.

 

Search Mode

Either Adv or Basic.

 

Search String

The text that the customer was searching for.

 

Products Found

The product number of all products that matched the search, or None if no matches were found.

 

Referrer

The URL of the store page that the customer was on when the search was started.
