Abandoned Cart

Send shoppers email to encourage them to come back and finish checkout.

Enable Abandon Cart Emails
Turn the Abandoned Cart feature on or off.
Keep unfinished shopping carts
Provide the number of days ShopSite should keep a cart active. After this time, the cart will be deleted and unretrievable. Defaults to 7.
Send abandoned cart emails
Provide the number of days ShopSite should wait before sending the first abandoned cart email. Defaults to 1.
Send second abandoned cart emails
Provide the number of days ShopSite should wait after sending the first email before sending a follow up second abandoned cart email. Defaults to 1.
Recovery Link Text
Provide the text you want used for the link to the abandoned cart. Defaults to "Recover Cart".
Display Product Image
You can choose to display product images in the abandon cart emails and choose what size the images should be. Defaults to display original size images.
Capture Email address on cart screen (via pop-up)
ShopSite knows the email addresses of registered customers. To get the email addresses of shoppers who are not registered customers, ShopSite can prompt the shopper for an email address when an item is first placed in the cart. This prompt will be in the form of a pop-up on the cart screen. If it is dismissed or ignored, it will not keep popping up each time an item is added to the cart. Set this field to "Yes" to activate this feature, "No" to turn it off.

First E-mail Text

Subject Line
Provide the subject line that will appear in the abandoned cart email. Defaults to "Come back and finish your purchase!"
Text at top of Email
You can customize the text that appears at the top of the email that will be sent. You can use this field to create a personalized message and a call to action.

This field supports use of the HTML Editor.

Text at bottom of Email
You can customize the text that appears at the bottom of the email that will be sent. You can use this field to thank the shopper and sign the email.

This field supports use of the HTML Editor.

Offer one time coupon
Decide whether or not to offer a one time coupon with the first abandoned cart email.
Coupon Template
Select the coupon template to use for the one time coupon. If you haven't configured any coupon templates, there will be a link to coupon templates are set up.
Text for Email
This text accompanies the coupon, if offered. You can modify the text to include more information about the coupon, such as when it expires and how much of a discount is offered. Defaults to: "We want your business! Use this coupon to complete your checkout: [COUPON_NAME_AND_LINK]"

Second E-mail Text

Provide the subject line that will appear in the second (and final) abandoned cart email. Defaults to "Hurry and order before it's too late - [Store.name]"
