Restore Database

This screen allows you to restore a backup copy over your existing ShopSite database.

Warning:

Restoring a database from a backup copy replaces the current database, and you will lose all changes that you have made since making the backup. Restoring the full database will delete any new orders made since the backup was made.

Before restoring your database from a backup, make sure the status of your backup file is OK. If the backup status is not OK, do not restore the database.

Select whether to only restore the Products and Pages portion of your database backup, or to restore the entire database, including Pages, Products, and Orders. Restoring the full database will delete any items, including orders, that have been made after the backup file was made.

Note:

If you have a Remote Orders Database, restoring the database will not affect your remote database.

Click Proceed to replace the existing database with the backup. After the backup has completed, click Done to return to the Database Information screen.
