How Do I Get Started?

The first time that you log in to your ShopSite store you will see the ShopSite Store Setup Wizard. The wizard is designed to walk you through the initial steps required to get your store up and open for business. Because these steps are so crucial, you must complete the wizard before reaching the regular ShopSite merchant interface.

The wizard walks you through the following steps:

  1. Selecting a language for your store
  2. Picking a store name and creating text for the first page of your store
  3. Adding products to sell in your store
  4. Creating the Web pages that will display the products
  5. Specifying tax, payment, and shipping policies
  6. Choosing the initial layout and color scheme for your store
  7. Publishing your store so that it appears on the Web

The wizard finishes at the main ShopSite back office screen. From there, you can add more products and pages, and use the ShopSite customization features to configure and administer your store.
